Thank YOU!

Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes! I have been very caught up in my job as a Phlebotomist at a Plasma Donation Center. So needless to say my energy for art is wayyyyy down. But I'm getting antsy. I think I just had a 1/4 life crisis a few years early (since I'm only 22)  and quite frankly it's been making me really emotional and depressed. I want to live my life doing art. But I have NO clue how to do that. Not to mention my art is FAR from the quality needed to live off of financially. I am completely self taught, and have NO mentors. Not even teachers. I hardly have money so classes are out of the picture and besides I learn better one on one anyway.

I really wish I could get an apprenticeship for art with someone like shiniez or yuumei. But I'm kind of a chicken and am afraid to ask. I need someone harsh that can tell me how to improve, do this, don't do that. Try HARDER. DON'T STOP. Because I'm too soft on myself. I have motivation, but, I just fizzle without someone helping to direct my energy and efforts in the most productive direction.

Anyway, I guess, my birthday wish is to find someone to take me on as an apprentice. someone like the above mentioned artists. Because I'm unhappy with where my life is, and I need to start doing what I love.
